Literature Text
I watch the sky with a thoughtful heart
While eating a small unhealthy tart
I'm on the grass, head pulled back
My butt is seated on the small empty sack
The stars are shining like ever before
Than I thought "Could there be more?"
More than the earth, more than the sky
Could there be a spaceship with wings that fly?
I sat silently, with the very thought in my mind
But what could I think? Something kind?
The sack under me suddenly got rough
And the clouds reminded me of when times were tough
Laughter was shattered, Love turned to Hate
It reminded me of a long and hutful debate
That's what I think of whenwatching the sky
Because all I want to so is get up and fly
While eating a small unhealthy tart
I'm on the grass, head pulled back
My butt is seated on the small empty sack
The stars are shining like ever before
Than I thought "Could there be more?"
More than the earth, more than the sky
Could there be a spaceship with wings that fly?
I sat silently, with the very thought in my mind
But what could I think? Something kind?
The sack under me suddenly got rough
And the clouds reminded me of when times were tough
Laughter was shattered, Love turned to Hate
It reminded me of a long and hutful debate
That's what I think of whenwatching the sky
Because all I want to so is get up and fly
